Dismantling, packaging and loading of a Frech W 500 die casting machine including automation for shipment to France
As part of a challenging project, a modern Frech W 500 die casting machine built in 2020 was successfully dismantled, packaged and loaded for safe transport to the customer in France.
The casting cell is equipped with state-of-the-art automation, including a Metec MB500/240 crucible furnace, a Meltec ingot feeding station, a linear Böhmer sprayer, an ABB IRB 2600-20/1.65 Foundry Plus robot and a Reis SEP 13 65 Dialog III deburring press with Z conveyor belt.
Dismantling
The dismantling of the casting cell was carried out by a team of five specialised technicians within a week. The machine was dismantled with the utmost care to ensure the functionality of the system and to enable safe loading. The automation components were also professionally dismantled.
Packaging and loading
After dismantling, the individual components were carefully packed to protect them during transport. The casting cell was loaded onto a flatbed truck, which transported it safely to the customer in France. The attachments and automation units were transported in two trucks to ensure smooth and safe delivery.
Transport to France
Transport was carried out directly to France, with all logistical processes being professionally organised. This ensured that the machine arrived at the customer's premises on time and in perfect condition.
Securing the future for the customer
With this state-of-the-art casting cell, the customer can reliably secure its production. We are confident that the casting cell will serve the customer well for many years to come and will always produce high-quality zinc die-cast parts.
