Commissioning & Production Readiness
Commissioning of Die Casting Machines, Foundry Systems and Production Equipment
After machine relocation, site transfer, reassembly or delivery of a used system, FISS ensures that die casting machines, casting machines and foundry systems are brought into production readiness in a structured way and commissioned safely.
Focus areas
- Assembly through to production readiness
- Safety and responsibility planning
- Acceptance report and documentation
- Training for operation and maintenance
Safe start after relocation or delivery
From delivery to successful operation
When a used die casting machine is relocated, a new system is delivered or an entire production facility is moved, all components must be checked, prepared and commissioned after reassembly. This process includes technical, organizational and safety-related tasks.
FISS knows the individual steps of commissioning from numerous projects and manages the process in detail. Even though every system has different requirements, a proven structure supports a smooth, safe and efficient project workflow.
Commissioning check
Which points FISS coordinates during commissioning
To ensure that machines and systems start reliably, technical functions, safety requirements, responsibilities and documentation are checked and coordinated systematically.
Installation & System Environment
Checking installation, accessibility, system environment, media connections and basic operational readiness.
Technical Function Check
Inspection of relevant machine functions, components, peripherals and interfaces before production start.
Safety Measures
Coordination of necessary protective measures, responsibilities and safety areas during commissioning.
Acceptance Report
Documentation of completed steps and proof of relevant inspection and acceptance points.
Project structure
Commissioning in clear project phases
Preparation
Planning the steps from assembly to commissioning, coordinating responsibilities and checking requirements.
Inspection
Checking system components, safety measures, interfaces and technical functions.
Commissioning
Step-by-step commissioning of the machine or system with structured support from experienced specialists.
Acceptance & Handover
Documentation in the acceptance report and handover to the operator, including optional employee training.
Safety aspects
Plan safety and responsibilities clearly
Various regulations and safety requirements apply when machines are commissioned. Together with you, FISS plans the necessary steps and defines which measures, roles and responsibilities must be considered on site.
- Which protective measures are required during commissioning?
- Which employees are present and who is responsible for which tasks?
- Which special qualifications are required for individual work steps?
- Who is allowed to be in the direct environment of the system during commissioning?
Documented acceptance
FISS takes relevant requirements such as EC directives, EU declaration of conformity and CE marking into account. An acceptance report documents the reliably completed steps and provides traceability for operators and project participants.
After commissioning
Service, training and technical support
FISS also supports you with suitable services after the project is complete. These include repair, maintenance, modernization, technical consulting and, if required, employee training in operation and maintenance.
Operator Training
Instruction for your employees in operation, basic workflows and safe use of the system.
Maintenance & Repair
Support with service assignments, maintenance, troubleshooting and technical assistance.
Modernization
Assessment of further optimization and modernization potential after successful commissioning.
