FISS Exports Bühler Carat 140, Bühler Evolution and Additional Foundry Equipment from Israel to Slovenia

FISS coordinated the purchase, dismantling, documentation, packaging and international transport of several die casting cells and foundry systems from Israel to Slovenia. The complete project involved approximately 550 tonnes of equipment and was completed under significant time pressure by an 18-person team.

Which foundry systems were transported from Israel to Slovenia?

The project included several Bühler Carat and Bühler Evolution die casting cells with extensive automation equipment.

In addition, a StrikoWestofen aluminium melting furnace, several Rösler linear-flow continuous systems, an Yxlon X-ray inspection system and additional foundry equipment were dismantled, packaged and transported to Slovenia.

From equipment purchase in Israel to the production site in Slovenia

Due to the short preparation period, all project phases had to be scheduled closely and partly carried out in parallel.

Only a limited amount of preparation time was available. The work was therefore organised in several shifts.

How did the project team respond to the changed transport route?

Despite careful preparation, short-notice changes may occur during international transport projects.

The shipping company changed the planned route and postponed the loading date. As a result, the sea voyage was unexpectedly extended to approximately three weeks.
